RAKEZ Company Setup in Ras Al Khaimah
Lexoford Services L.L.C-FZ can arrange Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) company registration. Lexoford Services is not an authorized or official partner of RAKEZ.
The Authorized Professional Partner credential applies to IFZA only. Lexoford Services is a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner. RAKEZ's contact page names GoBusiness as its official representative in Dubai and in Abu Dhabi. That representative is not Lexoford Services. Lexoford Services is licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, licence 2651822.01. That licence is Lexoford Services' own trade licence. It is not a RAKEZ licence.
What the service covers
Match the planned activity to a route RAKEZ publishes: a free-zone FZ-LLC, a non-free-zone individual establishment or LLC, or a branch. RAKEZ states that a non-free-zone entity is established in association with a UAE partner. Confirm the route in writing before filing.
Prepare the registration application and the shareholder papers on RAKEZ's checklist for the chosen view: individual, corporate or branch, free zone or non-free zone.
Follow the sequence RAKEZ's getting-started page describes: entity, licence type and facility, then submission, payment, and issuance of the licence, registration set and bank letter. A dual-licence application is not the same as approval.
RAKEZ's checklist requires a UBO declaration with a passport copy. RAKEZ describes a UBO as an individual who ultimately owns or exercises effective control over the company. Lexoford Services coordinates the information the file needs.
Prepare the corporate account file and coordinate with the bank. The bank letter RAKEZ issues with the licence is not a bank's approval. The bank decides. Account opening is not guaranteed.
Coordinate the visa steps that sit inside the service tier you select, after the licence. Immigration decides. Visa approval is not guaranteed.
Lexoford service fee from AED 3,999; government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total.
Other jurisdictions
If RAKEZ is not the right jurisdiction, Lexoford Services is a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner. Lexoford Services can arrange company registration in Meydan Free Zone, DMCC or SPC Free Zone, and on Dubai mainland. IFZA company setup is the only page on which Lexoford Services is an IFZA Authorized Professional Partner.
Compare activity, visas and budget before choosing a zone. How to choose a Dubai free zone is a decision framework, not a ranking. Company formation covers mainland, free zone and offshore work beyond this page.
What RAKEZ publishes about setup
The points below are taken from RAKEZ's own pages, checked on 2026-10-14. This page does not add fee amounts or a processing time that those pages do not state as a number.
RAKEZ's legal-entities page offers a free-zone entity and a non-free-zone entity. For the free-zone entity it states 100% ownership and profit repatriation, access to the local market through a local agent, no customs duty on re-exported goods, and freedom to source labour. For the non-free-zone entity it states establishment in association with a UAE partner, direct sales in the local market, no customs duty on sales in local and GCC markets, and that the entity is subject to UAE Labour Law. Those are RAKEZ's statements. They are not a customs or tax ruling.
Free zone: an FZ-LLC with 1 to 50 shareholders. Non-free zone: an individual establishment with a sole owner, and an LLC with 2 to 50 shareholders. Branches: a branch of a UAE company, including a free-zone company, and a branch of a foreign company. The same page also describes RAK ICC for private wealth and international business. This page does not set out ICC documents or fees.
RAKEZ's licence-types page lists commercial (trading in services and goods), educational, e-commerce, general trading, individual/professional (one owner, one activity in a specialty), industrial, media, professional, service, and a freelancer permit for media, education, IT and analyst work. The page separates free-zone and non-free-zone views.
RAKEZ states that a dual licence combines commercial and professional activities, and that it includes a UAE free-zone licence and a UAE free-zone company branch licence. The same page says the business can operate on the mainland as well as in free zones. A dual-licence application is not approval to trade across the UAE. Confirm the activity and the approvals in writing.
The getting-started page lists flexi facilities, shell and core offices, standard offices, warehouses, executive offices, and land. The contact page lists business zones, an academic zone, and the Al Hamra, Al Ghail and Al Hulaila industrial zones. This page does not publish a rent or facility fee.
RAKEZ publishes a separate instant-licence page for a free-zone establishment, FZ-LLC, on a commercial licence for one year. The English name notes on that page say the trade name should end with "FZ-LLC", that English and Arabic must not be combined, and that a name is rejected if it is the same as, or nearly resembles, a name already on the RAKEZ register or the UAE National Economic Register. This page does not publish the package amount shown on that route.
RAKEZ's published setup steps
RAKEZ describes selecting the legal entity, the licence type and the facility with its business-development staff.
The getting-started page describes completing the application and the documents the checklist requires.
RAKEZ says the invoice is emailed or collected from the office. Payment methods it lists are cash, cheque, bank transfer and online payment. It does not state an amount on that page.
RAKEZ says the licence, a registration set and a bank letter are issued when the formalities are complete, and that the visa application process starts after that.
The checklist also lists an application for Chamber of Commerce membership and an application for registration with the Department of Economic Development. The page separates free-zone and non-free-zone views, so the written quotation should confirm which items apply to the chosen route. Where a UAE shareholder or a local service agent applies, the checklist lists a family book and an Emirates ID.

Visas, in RAKEZ's own wording
- The getting-started page states that the visa application process starts after the licence, the registration set and the bank letter are issued.
- The Al Hamra Industrial Zone page states eligibility to apply for UAE residence visas for investors and employees. Eligibility to apply is not an approval.
- Where the shareholder or general manager is a UAE resident, the checklist includes an original no-objection certificate.
- The pages cited here do not publish one visa quota for every licence.
Those statements do not fix a visa count for every file. The visa counts named in the service tiers below are Lexoford Services' service-fee scope, not a RAKEZ allocation. Approval of the company application does not mean a visa will be approved for a particular person.

Service fees
The three service tiers and the visa-count sentence below are the same wording as the pricing section on the Lexoford Services homepage. They are Lexoford service fees, not RAKEZ fees.
0–1 visa: Starter AED 3,999. 2–3 visas: Business AED 4,999. 5 visas: Premium AED 7,999. Each additional visa adds AED 1,000 service fee beyond the visas your tier includes. Customer pays = government/free-zone fees at cost + Lexoford service fee.
Government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total. This page does not publish a RAKEZ fee schedule.
How Lexoford Services handles a RAKEZ file
Activity, customers, whether the file is free zone or non-free zone, shareholders, and whether anyone needs a residence visa.
Service fee and authority fees listed separately, using the service tiers above. No all-in sticker on this page.
The registration application, passports, the UBO declaration, and the parent-company or residence papers that apply to the chosen route.
Licence, registration set and bank letter first. A bank account and a visa are separate applications. The bank and immigration decide.
It depends on the jurisdiction, business activities and authority review; Lexoford gives an estimate after checking your documents. That is not a RAKEZ service level. RAKEZ's getting-started page does not state a processing time in days. Remote company setup separates licence steps from medical, Emirates ID and bank visits.

- No minimum share capital in dirhams. The RAKEZ pages cited here do not state one.
