DMCC Company Setup in Dubai
Lexoford Services L.L.C-FZ assists with DMCC company setup in Dubai. Lexoford Services is not an authorized or official partner of DMCC.
Lexoford Services' own trade licence is issued by Meydan Free Zone, number 2651822.01. That licence is not a DMCC licence, and it is not a partner appointment. The Authorized Professional Partner credential applies to IFZA only. Lexoford Services is also a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner.
What the service covers
Match the planned activity to a formation type and a licence category DMCC publishes: individual, subsidiary or branch, and a trading, service, commercial, industrial or freelance licence. Confirm the activity list in writing before filing.
Prepare the identification, ownership and premises documents DMCC's setup page lists, including ultimate beneficial owner information where a person has 25% or more ownership or control.
Follow DMCC's portal steps: pre-approval, payment and signing, then the office solution inside DMCC, through to the electronic licence.
DMCC requires ultimate beneficial owner information, with supporting documents for individuals who own or control 25% or more, and an update when that information changes.
Prepare the corporate account file and coordinate with the bank. The bank decides. Account opening is not guaranteed.
Coordinate the visa steps that sit inside the service tier you select. DMCC states that visa count depends on office size and licence type. Immigration decides. Visa approval is not guaranteed.
Lexoford service fee from AED 3,999; government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total.
Other jurisdictions
If DMCC is not the right jurisdiction, Lexoford Services assists with company setup in Meydan Free Zone and on Dubai mainland, and is a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner. Lexoford Services can assist with setup in RAKEZ or SPC Free Zone. IFZA company setup is the only page on which Lexoford Services is an IFZA Authorized Professional Partner.
Compare activity, visas and budget before choosing a zone. How to choose a Dubai free zone is a decision framework, not a ranking. Company formation covers mainland, free zone and offshore work beyond this page.
What DMCC publishes about setup
The points below are taken from DMCC's company-setup page and from DMCC's Licensing Rules, checked on 2026-10-14. This page does not copy DMCC's schedule of charges.
DMCC describes itself as a free zone whose districts are Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Uptown Dubai. DMCC states that a company must have a registered address inside the free zone.
DMCC's setup page lists individual, subsidiary and branch. A free zone company must have at least one shareholder, individual or corporate. A director and a company secretary must be appointed. One person may hold both roles.
The Licensing Rules, effective 10 October 2024, list trading, service, commercial, industrial and freelance licences. The commercial category is for a special purpose vehicle, a holding company, a single family office and a multi family office. A freelance licence is for a natural person.
DMCC's setup page states 100% business ownership and capital repatriation, and that a free zone company can be fully foreign owned without a local partner. DMCC also states that it is a qualified free zone for Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, with a 0% corporate tax rate on qualifying income as specified by the relevant Cabinet and Ministerial decisions, and that it publishes 0% personal income tax.
DMCC states that gambling, explicit content, and activities harmful to the environment or public health are not permitted. Activities that need a licence from another authority may have further restrictions.
DMCC states that an applicant can use the Business Setup Wizard and does not have to use a consultant. A consultant is a paid intermediary. Lexoford Services is that kind of assistant. DMCC issues the licence.
DMCC's published setup steps
Submit the online pre-approval application through the DMCC portal, with the documents the setup page lists.
Complete payment and sign the documents in the portal. DMCC states that fees are those in its schedule of charges. This page does not reproduce that schedule.
Select the office solution inside DMCC. DMCC lists a flexi-desk, a serviced office and a dedicated workspace, and also states that the company must lease or own space in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
DMCC states that the licence is issued electronically once registration is complete.
DMCC states that business carried on outside the free zone needs an acknowledgement from the Registrar and any approval another UAE authority requires. A licence must be renewed on or before the expiry date printed on it. DMCC states that multi-year licensing options are available. This page does not state a discount rate.
To hold an active licence, other than a freelance licence, the Licensing Rules require the applicant to exist on the register, to hold a lease or freehold in the company's name, and to show paid-up share capital to the extent the list of approved activities requires. This page does not state a share-capital amount.

Office and visas, in DMCC's wording
- Every company needs a registered address inside DMCC. DMCC says that address can be a flexi-desk, a serviced office or a dedicated workspace, and also says the company must lease or own physical office space in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
- The number of visas depends on the office size and the licence type. DMCC does not publish one visa count for every company on this page's sources.
- A residence visa through the company requires a visit for the medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics. After that, DMCC states that many activities can be managed remotely, depending on the activity.
- Company approval is not visa approval. Immigration decides.
The visa counts named in the service tiers below are Lexoford Services' service-fee scope, not a DMCC allocation.

Service fees
The three service tiers and the visa-count sentence below are the same wording as the pricing section on the Lexoford Services homepage. They are Lexoford service fees, not DMCC fees.
0–1 visa: Starter AED 3,999. 2–3 visas: Business AED 4,999. 5 visas: Premium AED 7,999. Each additional visa adds AED 1,000 service fee beyond the visas your tier includes. Customer pays = government/free-zone fees at cost + Lexoford service fee.
Government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total. This page does not publish the DMCC schedule of charges.
How Lexoford Services handles a DMCC file
Activity, customers, shareholders, whether anyone needs a residence visa, and which office solution the visa count depends on.
Service fee and authority fees listed separately, using the service tiers above. No all-in sticker on this page.
Identity documents, ownership documents, premises documents, and ultimate beneficial owner information where the 25% test applies.
Electronic licence first. Banking and visas are separate applications.
DMCC states that setup typically takes around 10 working days, and that the e-licence is issued within 2 to 3 working days once setup is complete. It depends on the jurisdiction, business activities and authority review; Lexoford gives an estimate after checking your documents. That is not a DMCC service level. Remote company setup separates licence steps from medical, Emirates ID and bank visits.

DMCC's company-setup page lists three formation types: individual, subsidiary and branch. It states that a free zone company (FZCO) must have at least one shareholder, who can be an individual or a corporate entity. DMCC's Licensing Rules, effective 10 October 2024, list these licence categories: trading, service, commercial (special purpose vehicle, holding company, single family office and multi family office), industrial, and freelance. A freelance licence is for a natural person and one or more approved freelance activities. The Registrar may add other categories.
DMCC's company-setup page lists identification documents for shareholders, directors and authorised signatories (passport, visa and proof of address), company ownership documents (shareholding structure, memorandum and articles of association, and parent or group documents where they apply), and business information (proposed name, activities, office lease or property documents, and a bank reference or capital-deposit confirmation). DMCC may ask for more, depending on the activity. Ultimate beneficial owner information is required for individuals with 25% or more ownership or control, and it must be updated when it changes. Do not send passports or identity documents through the form on this page.
DMCC states that company setup can be completed remotely. The published steps are an online pre-approval application, payment and document signing in the DMCC portal, and selection of an office solution inside DMCC. DMCC states that the licence is issued electronically. DMCC also states that the process typically takes around 10 working days, depending on documents and approvals, and that once setup is complete the e-licence is issued within 2 to 3 working days. Those are DMCC's own figures. They are not a Lexoford service level. If a residence visa is applied for through the company, DMCC states that a visit is required for the medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics. It depends on the jurisdiction, business activities and authority review; Lexoford gives an estimate after checking your documents. That is not a DMCC service level.
DMCC states that every company needs a registered business address inside DMCC. The same page says companies must lease or own physical office space in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, and it also lists a flexi-desk, a serviced office or a dedicated workspace as ways to meet the registered-address requirement. DMCC states that the number of visas depends on the size of the office and the type of licence. A director and a company secretary must be appointed, and one person may hold both roles. The visa counts in Lexoford's Starter, Business and Premium service tiers are the scope of the service fee, not a DMCC visa allocation. Visa approval is not guaranteed.
DMCC publishes Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Uptown Dubai as its districts. Lexoford Services' public office is Office 607, 6th Floor, RAG Tower Business Center, Al Barsha 1, Dubai. In-person meetings are by appointment. Email info@lexofordservices.ae or call +971 58 500 2191.
What this page does not state
- No DMCC fee in dirhams. DMCC publishes a schedule of charges and a setup-cost range. This page does not repeat those amounts, so they are not read as Lexoford fees.
- No multi-year discount rate, and no share-capital figure. The Licensing Rules tie paid-up capital to the list of approved activities. An older DMCC FAQ file states a general-trading capital figure. That list was not confirmed for this page, so no capital amount is stated.
- No guarantee of licence, visa or bank-account approval, and no ranking of free zones. DMCC's member-company counts are DMCC's own description. This page does not turn them into a ranking.
- No tax advice. The 0% corporate-tax sentence above is DMCC's statement about qualifying income under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022. It is not a promise that every dirham of income is taxed at 0%. See UAE corporate tax and VAT.
- No claim that Lexoford Services is an authorized or official partner of DMCC.
Lexoford Services is not a law firm. What Lexoford Services does not guarantee.
