Meydan Free Zone Company Setup in Dubai
Lexoford Services L.L.C-FZ assists with Meydan Free Zone company setup in Dubai. Lexoford Services is not an authorized or official partner of Meydan Free Zone.
Lexoford Services is licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, licence 2651822.01. That licence is Lexoford Services' own trade licence. It is not the client's Meydan licence, and it is not a partner appointment. The Authorized Professional Partner credential applies to IFZA only. Lexoford Services is also a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner.
What the service covers
Match the planned activity to a route Meydan publishes: Fawri for a one-person LLC, or the Regular business licence where more than one shareholder is needed. Confirm the activity list in writing before filing.
Prepare the passport copy Meydan's Fawri page asks for to start, UAE Pass where the applicant is a UAE resident, and the corporate-shareholder documents Meydan's FAQ lists when a company is a shareholder.
Follow the digital application Meydan describes: activity selection, name check, submission and licence issuance. External approvals, where an activity needs them, stay with the authority that issues them.
Meydan's FAQ requires licensees to keep a register of the ultimate beneficial owner, partners or shareholders, and to record changes. Lexoford Services coordinates the information the file needs.
Prepare the corporate account file and coordinate with the bank. Meydan states that final bank approval depends on the bank. Account opening is not guaranteed.
Coordinate the visa steps that sit inside the service tier you select, after the immigration card and visa allocation Meydan requires. Immigration decides. Visa approval is not guaranteed.
Lexoford service fee from AED 3,999; government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total.
Other jurisdictions
If Meydan Free Zone is not the right jurisdiction, Lexoford Services assists with company setup in DMCC and on Dubai mainland, and is a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner. Lexoford Services can assist with setup in RAKEZ or SPC Free Zone. IFZA company setup is the only page on which Lexoford Services is an IFZA Authorized Professional Partner.
Compare activity, visas and budget before choosing a zone. How to choose a Dubai free zone is a decision framework, not a ranking. Company formation covers mainland, free zone and offshore work beyond this page.
What Meydan Free Zone publishes about setup
The points below are taken from Meydan Free Zone's own pages, checked on 2026-10-14. This page does not add fee amounts or a single Regular-licence processing time that those pages do not agree on.
Fawri is Meydan's instant LLC licence for one person, who is the shareholder, manager, director and UBO. The Regular business licence is the route Meydan points to for startups, teams and more than one shareholder. Meydan's business-proposal page describes the company form as an LLC licence with limited liability.
Meydan's Fawri page and business-proposal page state 100% foreign ownership and that no local sponsor is required. The business-proposal page also states that a person already working in the UAE does not need a no-objection certificate from the current employer to begin, and that capital and profits can be repatriated.
Meydan states that up to three activity groups can be combined on one licence, including across different industries. Fawri's published pool is more than 1,800 activities. The Regular licence's published pool is more than 2,500 activities. Some activities need clearance from another authority.
Meydan's FAQ states that only an LLC is eligible for Fawri, that a branch is not permitted, and that only one individual shareholder is permitted at formation. A select range of nationalities and activities applies. One amendment is published as available within one year, after which Meydan says the Fawri-specific limits no longer apply and the licence follows the regular terms.
Meydan's FAQ states a maximum of 50 shareholders, a maximum of 4 directors, and one manager named on the licence. The maximum validity Meydan states for a licence is up to 10 years. A 0-visa licence is published as available, including a lease agreement and an LLC-FZ trade licence with three activity groups.
Meydan's business-proposal page states that business licences include a shared desk facility at Meydan Hotel, Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor. Fawri's page states that a facility lease agreement is included and that a dedicated office or flexi-desk can be added later. That address is Meydan's facility.
Meydan's published Fawri steps
Meydan describes choosing activities from the Fawri list, confirming a company name, and completing the application online.
Meydan describes a name check against UAE naming rules. The Fawri page describes that check as taking as little as 20 minutes.
Meydan publishes Fawri licence issuance as within 60 minutes of a completed online application and payment, subject to the compliance endorsement named in the FAQ.
Meydan describes activating an immigration profile, including an establishment card and e-channel, and then a separate visa process. Those steps are not the licence issuance itself.
Meydan's Fawri FAQ states that Fawri does not require paid-up share capital. The same FAQ states that a mainland permit can be applied for so the company can work with and invoice mainland companies. A permit application is not the same as approval.

Visas, in Meydan's own wording
- A 0-visa licence is published as available. It includes a lease agreement and an LLC-FZ trade licence with three groups of business activities.
- A visa application comes after incorporation, and Meydan requires an immigration card and a visa allocation first.
- Meydan states that eligibility for an investor or partner visa starts at share capital of AED 50,000 or more. Sole shareholder: investor visa. Not the sole shareholder: partner visa. That figure is Meydan's condition, not a Lexoford fee.
- Fawri's page states that residency visas, medical tests and Emirates ID are not in the base licence. They are separate steps.
Those clauses do not state a fixed visa count for every licence. The visa counts named in the service tiers below are Lexoford Services' service-fee scope, not a Meydan allocation. Approval of the company application does not mean a visa will be approved for a particular person.

Service fees
The three service tiers and the visa-count sentence below are the same wording as the pricing section on the Lexoford Services homepage. They are Lexoford service fees, not Meydan Free Zone fees.
0–1 visa: Starter AED 3,999. 2–3 visas: Business AED 4,999. 5 visas: Premium AED 7,999. Each additional visa adds AED 1,000 service fee beyond the visas your tier includes. Customer pays = government/free-zone fees at cost + Lexoford service fee.
Government and free-zone fees are extra, paid at cost. Estimate your itemised total. This page does not publish a Meydan Free Zone fee schedule.
How Lexoford Services handles a Meydan file
Activity, customers, shareholders, whether anyone needs a residence visa, and whether Fawri's one-shareholder limit fits.
Service fee and authority fees listed separately, using the service tiers above. No all-in sticker on this page.
Passport copy to start, UAE Pass where it applies, and the corporate documents Meydan lists when a company is a shareholder.
Licence documents first. Banking and visas are separate applications. The bank and immigration decide.
It depends on the jurisdiction, business activities and authority review; Lexoford gives an estimate after checking your documents. That is not a Meydan service level. Meydan publishes Fawri as within 60 minutes, and does not publish one Regular-licence time. Remote company setup separates licence steps from medical, Emirates ID and bank visits.
Frequently asked questions
No. Lexoford Services L.L.C-FZ assists with Meydan Free Zone company setup. Lexoford Services is not an authorized or official partner of Meydan Free Zone. The Authorized Professional Partner credential applies to IFZA only (Partner ID 11215-7490, certificate dated 2026-09-25). Lexoford Services is also a SHAMS Authorized Partner and an Expo City Dubai Free Zone Channel Partner. Lexoford Services is licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, licence 2651822.01. That is Lexoford Services' own trade licence. It is not the client's licence, and it is not a partner appointment.
No. AED 3,999 / 4,999 / 7,999 are Lexoford service fees (Starter / Business / Premium). Free-zone and government fees are billed at cost, with no markup. This page does not publish a Meydan Free Zone fee schedule.
Meydan Free Zone publishes a Fawri licence and a Regular business licence. Fawri is an instant LLC licence, issued digitally, for one individual who is the shareholder, manager, director and UBO. Meydan's FAQ states that branches are not permitted on Fawri, and that a multi-shareholder structure should use the Regular business licence. The same FAQ states a maximum of 50 shareholders on a licence, a maximum of 4 directors, and one manager named on the licence. Meydan states that up to three activity groups can sit on one licence. Fawri draws on more than 1,800 activities. The Regular licence draws on more than 2,500 activities.
Meydan's Fawri page states that a valid passport copy is enough to start, and that a UAE resident can apply with UAE Pass. Meydan's FAQ lists, for a corporate shareholder, parent-company documents (certificate of incorporation, certificate of incumbency, memorandum and articles, and a signed and stamped board resolution) and passport copies of owners and managers. After incorporation, Meydan's FAQ lists a certificate of formation, a share register, a business licence, a lease agreement and a memorandum of association. Do not send passports or identity documents through the form on this page.
Meydan's pages do not give one presence rule. The Fawri product page states that the process is fully digital and can be completed without UAE residency, using a valid passport. The Fawri FAQ also states that, before the licence is issued, the applicant must hold an Emirates ID or have someone with an Emirates ID apply. This page does not resolve that difference. Visa, medical and Emirates ID steps are separate from licence issuance. Meydan publishes Fawri as issued within 60 minutes. Meydan's pages do not publish one processing time for a Regular licence, so this page does not state one. It depends on the jurisdiction, business activities and authority review; Lexoford gives an estimate after checking your documents. That is not a Meydan service level.
Meydan's FAQ states that a 0-visa licence is available and that it includes a lease agreement and an LLC-FZ trade licence with three groups of business activities. A visa can be applied for after incorporation if the company has an immigration card and a visa allocation. Meydan states that an investor or partner visa requires share capital of AED 50,000 or more. If the applicant is the sole shareholder, Meydan says to apply for an investor visa. If the applicant is not the sole shareholder, Meydan says to apply for a partner visa. That share-capital figure is Meydan's published condition. It is not a Lexoford fee. The visa counts in Lexoford's Starter, Business and Premium service tiers are the scope of the service fee, not a Meydan visa allocation. Visa approval is not guaranteed.
Meydan's business-proposal page states that business licences include a shared desk facility at Meydan Hotel, Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor. That is Meydan's facility, not Lexoford Services' meeting office. Lexoford Services' public office is Office 607, 6th Floor, RAG Tower Business Center, Al Barsha 1, Dubai. In-person meetings are by appointment. Email info@lexofordservices.ae or call +971 58 500 2191.
What this page does not state
- No Meydan licence fee, visa fee or office-upgrade fee in dirhams. Meydan publishes starting amounts and add-on amounts. This page does not repeat them, so they are not read as Lexoford fees.
- No single Regular-licence processing time. Meydan's calculator says 3 to 5 days, and the business-proposal page says 2 days. Those statements are not reconciled here.
- No single Fawri refund formula, and no resolution of the Fawri presence rule. One Meydan page says a full refund if the licence is not issued within 60 minutes. The FAQ also describes a partial refund if the process exceeds 60 minutes and a full refund if the licence is not issued. The product page allows a remote passport application. The FAQ also requires an Emirates ID, or a person with an Emirates ID, before issuance.
- No tax rate. Meydan marketing pages make broader tax claims. This page does not repeat them. See UAE corporate tax and VAT.
- No guarantee of licence, visa or bank-account approval, no ranking of free zones, and no claim that Lexoford Services is an authorized or official partner of Meydan Free Zone.
Lexoford Services is not a law firm. What Lexoford Services does not guarantee.
