Two numbers get conflated in most marketing: how fast the licence is issued, and how fast you can actually operate. They are weeks apart.
Stage by stage
| Stage | Where | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Jurisdiction and activity selection, name reservation | Remote | 1 - 2 days |
| Document submission and initial approval | Remote | 2 - 4 days |
| MOA signing and licence issuance | Remote or in person | 2 - 4 days |
| Establishment card and visa quota | Filed for you | 3 - 5 days |
| Entry permit, medical test, Emirates ID biometrics | In the UAE | 3 - 5 days on the ground |
| Visa stamping and Emirates ID issuance | In the UAE | 1 - 2 weeks |
| Corporate bank account | In the UAE | 2 - 6 weeks |
Licence: 3 to 10 working days. Fully operational: roughly 4 to 6 weeks.
What extends the timeline
- Corporate shareholders - attestation of parent-company documents adds 2 to 3 weeks.
- Regulated activities - education, healthcare, food, finance and similar require separate approvals, sometimes months.
- Name rejections - names implying government affiliation, religious references or existing trademarks are refused.
- Enhanced bank due diligence - the most common cause of a four-week plan becoming a ten-week one.
- Public holidays - Eid and National Day periods pause government processing.
A quote of 24-hour company setup describes name reservation or an initial approval certificate, not a tradeable company with a bank account.
Planning your trip
The in-person requirements - medical test, Emirates ID biometrics, bank interview - are best compressed into a single visit of three to five days, which requires appointments booked in advance.
Arriving without appointments generally wastes the trip. We schedule these before clients travel, and since we also hold a tour operator licence, we can arrange the logistics of the visit itself.
Tell us your target start date and we will map the sequence backward from it.
